Vývoj hospodaření města v letech 2005-2009

Abstract

This thesis deals with the management of municipalities, specifically deals with the management of Kopřivnice in the years 2005 - 2009. The city is a municipality with extended powers, and authorized local government is found in the Region and is the second largest village of Novy Jicin district. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and analytical. The theoretical part focuses on the clarification of basic terms relating to municipalities, their institutions and economy. Analytical part analyzes the city economy. The aim of this work is to compare the management of Kopřivnice between 2005 - 2009 and determining factors which significantly affect the revenue and expenditure budget of the city. The hypotheses of this work is to determine whether the city manages funds effectively and efficiently.
