Title: Financing of hospice care in a non-profit organization
This diploma thesis is focused on the financing of hospice care in a non-profit organization. The aim was to find resources for providing hospice care on the basis of an analysis of management of a non-profit organization and to propose improvements of economic conditions of the hospice care. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with concepts such as palliative care, hospice care and hospice, history and development of hospices in the world and in our country, legislation and principles of hospice care in the Czech Republic. The structure of financial resources for providing hospice care was identified through an analysis of management in non-profit church organization CITADELA Hospice in 2006-2010. Subsequently the financial resources for providing hospice care are evaluated and recommendations for improving the economic conditions of the hospice care are formulated.
