Česká republika a Schengenský prostor

Abstract

Cílem této bakalářské práce je popsat a zhodnotit nelegální migraci v EU a následně tuto problematiku aplikovat na Českou republiku. Samotná práce je rozdělena do tří částí. První kapitola je teoretickým základem a jsou zde vymezeny základní pojmy a mechanismy svobody pohybu a schengenské spolupráce. V další kapitole se věnuji samotnému procesu přejímání schengenského acquis a důraz zde kladu rovněž na Schengenský informační systém. Ve třetí části analyzuji jednotlivé ukazatele nelegální migrace a zároveň charakterizuji současné trendy v této oblasti. Kapitola je završena srovnáním situace v České republice před a po vstupu do schengenského prostoru.

The aim of this bachelor´s thesis is to describe and to evaluate illegal migration in the EU and consequently apply this issue into the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first chapter is the theoretical basis and covers basic terms and mechanisms of freedom of movement and the Schengen cooperation. In the next chapter, I´m concentrating on the whole process of the Schengen acquis integration and also emphasise the importance of the Schengen Information System. In the third chapter, I´m analysing individual indicators for illegal migration and simultaneously characterize current trends in this area. This chapter is completed with the comparison of the situation in the Czech Republic before and after the Schengen Area entry.
