Financial Analysis of European Steel Company

Abstract

Financial analysis is the process of evaluating businesses, projects, budgets and other finance-related entities to determine their suitability for investment. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to provide the financial analysis of Trinecke zelezarny Company during the period of 2010 to 2014. Trinecke zelezarny Company is one of the biggest iron and steel company in the Czech Republic, it is well-known for its iron and steel-making industry. The thesis consists of 5 chapters. In chapter 2, three kinds of methods for financial analysis are introduced. In chapter 3, there is the description of Trinecke zelezarny Company. In chapter 4, we apply the methods which are introduced in chapter 2 to make analysis of the company. In chapter 5, we make conclusions from the financial analysis of Trinecke zelezarny Company, and also provide the advice for the better developments of the company in the future.
