Abstract

The presented bachelor thesis focuses on the current status of alternative energy sources, including their importance and benefits in the context of the current energy sector. It analyses different types of alternative energy sources such as solar, wind, hydro, geothermal and biomass with respect to their technical parameters and economic efficiency. The thesis also addresses the safety of using these energy sources, including the potential risks associated with their operation and environmental impact. The work contributes to a better understanding of alternative energy sources and provides a comprehensive view of their safety aspects in the context of safety engineering.
