Abstract

In this thesis have been evaluated destructive and non-destructive mechanical testing of gray iron castings for the purpose of evaluation parameters methodologies that would refine knowledge of the fatigue properties of cast iron with lamellar graphite (LLG). The work is validated methods determination of fatigue properties of cast iron with lamellar graphite by analyzing the tensile diagram tensile testing. In terms of non-destructive testing is concerned with determining the tensile strength through measurements of longitudinal ultrasonic waves.
