Abstract

This Batchelor thesis deals with routing protocols in computer networks. First part describes the usage of routing protocols. Next part describes individual routing protocols, their types and important parameters. Practical part of this batchelor thesis describes mainly the implementation of routing protocols RIP and OSPF in a created computer networks and how they are affected by routing protocols messages generated using the Spirent TestCenter C1 device. The main output of the batchelor thesis is a guide for generating routing protocols messages using the Spirent TestCenter C1 device.
