Abstract

This thesis describes the bus system KNX, which is a uniform system for the comprehensive management of intelligent buildings and homes. Nowadays we can find in the buildings a lot of new systems for security, lighting control systems, heating control systems, and many other commonly used technical elements designed to increase living comfort. The KNX intelligent electrical installation system combines all the technological parts into one logically structured system. Building automation is currently very debated theme especially in large buildings and office buildings. Benefits of automated buildings consist mainly in cutting operational costs, increasing comfort housing and improving variability of electrical installation. In this thesis system function KNX is theoretically discussed and a sample procedure design for intelligent electrical system in residential house is created, on whose basis the requirements are practically implemented into trainings panels.
