Abstract
The aim of the thesis is the evaluation of selected public services provided by the municipality of Orlova in the period 2006-2010. The second chapter provides the theoretical foundations of public services in general, local and EU level, both generally and locally. The third chapter is a description of the municipal office in the Orlova, his division of the powers delegated and independent, then there is a detailed description of the six selected services provided by the Municipal Authority Orlova. The fourth chapter is an evaluation of selected public services by the guarantor, provider, provider performance in relation to expenditure of the city budget and evaluation according to standards that Orlova Town Council for their services are used.
