Certifikované vedlejší energetické produkty a jejich použití

Abstract

The power and heating plants that produce electricity and heat by combustion of coal always produce also the energy by-products (EBP) – the slag, bottom ash, fly ash, fluidized bed ash, gypsum and the products from flue gas desulfurization process, etc., which are used not only in construction. If we want to use these products in construction and for other purposes, it is necessary to classify it as secondary raw material. This is followed by the certification of the product. Current legislation doesn’t facilitate this process of classification and certification very much. It is necessary to ensure the optimization of the entire certification process in order to promote the use of energy by-products.
