Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the protection of public transport in the fight against vandalism in railway environment. The introduction describes the basic legal regulations related to object security and rail transport. The next section details the current state of the railways in Czech Republic and specifications of applied security provisions, which are analyzed and evaluated by using methods of analysis. The final section contains proposals through technical protection and mobile forms of physical security, which leads to reduction of vandalism and illegal activities in rail transport.
