Abstract

The thesis is focused on the development of approaches to performance measurement of quality management systems. In the theoretical part the concept of performance of quality management systems is defined and the individual terms, the principles of modern quality management and Balanced Scorecard methodology are explained. In the practical part it is performed a research of current approaches to measuring the performance of the quality management systems in organizations of various sizes operating in industry and performance indicators are processed. On the basis of this knowledge generally applicable methodology for measuring the performance of the quality management systems and appropriate indicators of quality management systems performance are proposed.
