Abstract
This thesis is focused on the municipal housing stock. The introductory part describes the basic knowledge on the development and condition of housing stock and analysis of the gradual transformation of the housing stock in the Czech Republic. The main purpose is to propose a general methodology for the selection of strategic housing in the privatization of municipal flats. The methodology is based on an analysis of the municipal housing stock portfolios from all available factors that present specific selection criteria, on their principle a gradual selection of the strategic housing happens. Individual questions are examined separately. An important part of this work is the practical application of a general methodology for the selected part of the municipal housing stock, where the concrete conclusions result from.
