Abstract

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to describe and propose a possible solution of optimization of the process of construction of a medium-sized construction company with the maximum utilization of information systems, used by construction companies as standard during the preparation and realization of construction orders. The thesis describes the electronic information systems, which can be commonly encountered in the construction industry, both owned by the construction company and information systems enabling the construction companies to access public contracts. The following chapters show the use of these information systems in practice on a particular case of a construction contract. The final summary sets out the possibilities of these systems to streamline the management of the construction process.
