Hodnocení kvality odlitků z hliníkových slitin

Abstract

Master thesis is focused on evaluation of quality of the castings for car transmission boxes from alloy AlSi9Cu3(Fe). The practical part deals with overall production of the evaluated castings in supplier´s foundry. In the introduction part melting process, refining of liquid alloy, pressure die casting and quality control of the final castings are presented. The next part focuses on quality management of taking delivery of the castings in the machining shop, final machining of castings and their important control during production process and after machining. The final parts is concerned with the castings which are not identical, specification of their types, classification of defects and their causes of origin and a few recommendation how to prevent origin of defects.
