NIKRMAJEROVA, Markéta.: Ensuring the protection of building monuments with fire extinguishing technologies. Thesis, Ostrava, 2022. VSB – Technical University of Ostrava. Thesis supervisor doc. Ing. Petr Kučera, Ph.D. The thesis deals with the current state of the requirements that are placed on the security of fire protection in buildings of architectural monuments in the Czech Republic, scope of application in fire safety solutions and an insight into foreign legislation. It presents examples of already implemented installations of fire safety equipment at selected building monuments. It also evaluates the possible methods of fire extinguishing in the environment of architectural monuments following the installation of stable fire extinguishing equipment. In the final part, he proposes possible ways of securing a specific historical monument with appropriate extinguishing technologies.
