Novela loterijního zákona, její klady, zápory a dopad na herní průmysl

Abstract

The aim of this work is to describe and understand all the stages of development lottery legislation to operation of lotteries and of gambling. The time range was chosen from the earliest historical references to the first lottery to today's dynamically evolving game industry. The law on gaming issues in the Czech Republic in force from January 1, 2012, which is the amendment of Act No. 202/1990 Coll. On lotteries and similar games as amended by No. 458/2011, were subjected to thorough analysis. We tried to find how the fundamental errors in the newly created legislation, so the important benefits that brings. The game industry has turnover in the billions crowns a year, and the quality of legislation in our legal order has lacked. We also tried to draw attention to the risks, which this Act brings for Czech Republic within the framework of the European Union. Part of the work are devoted of the impact of the amendment in the lottery legislation into the game industry. The thesis is intended for all who are interested in the issues of legislation of game industry or who is directly affected by this and who would like to better orient in a convoluted and difficult understanding of the interpretation of this amendment.
