Abstract
The theme of this thesis is effect of heat transfer during the production of patented wire in the fluidized bed and the lead bath. With each technology, the patented C80K high-carbon drawn wires were made and their properties were then compared.
The theoretical part of this bachelor thesis describes the processes of heat treatment of steel, as well as the transfer of heat in the fluidized bed and the lead bath.
In the experimental part of this thesis are compared the mechanical properties, the microstructure and the hardness of the drawn patented wire in the fluidized bed and the lead bath. The results show that the high carbon steel wire produced by both technologies has comparable properties.
