Lomová houževnatost svarových spojů jaderně energetických zařízení

Abstract

This diploma thesis is focused on the evaluation of the fracture toughness of dissimilar metal weld joint in nuclear power station equipment. The fracture toughness was determined by two methods, namely by the classic method of testing the fracture toughness by three-point bending and by the method of the instrumented indentation technique. The first mentioned method has a destructive character. Demanding production of SENB test samples was required, whereas the second method is directly applicable even operating conditions due to its non-destructive character. The resulting fracture toughness values were compared and discussed. The experimental part was also supplemented with a microstructural analysis of the experimental materials and fractography of fracture surfaces of the samples.
