Abstract

Title of thesis: Continual Process Improving through KAIZEN in Chosen Company Author of thesis: Bc. Alena Tománková The aim of this thesis was to analyze the current status of the process of rebuilding production lines in chosen company and finding space for the use of the Kaizen system of continuous improvement. As a tool to analyze the issue, I chose the method of SMED, which aims to minimize unproductive time for production equipment. After application of all SMED method steps I have found a significant time savings and increase of the productive time of the production line. This was also the subsequent use of line efficiencies, and this also enabled to achieve the objectives.
