Vliv technologie výroby litých kovových pěn na jejich užitné vlastnosti

Abstract

The aim of my thesis is to introduce the metal foam as a new emerging material with wide application especially in modern industry. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes the properties, uses and methods of production of metal foams. Furthermore, the work part dedicated foundry technology, production of metal foams, in particular materials having a regular cellular structure. The main attention is devoted to Lost Foam technology and production technology, metal foams by casting molten metal into the mold cavity filled preform, which we have done in the practical part in the laboratories of the school VŠB - TUO. The practical part focuses on the production of metallic foams according to the above technology to perform mechanical tests and determine their differences. To develop this thesis, I used my previous knowledge of the thesis.
