Vliv znečištění ovzduší na zdraví člověka

Abstract

This thesis concerns the issue of air pollution and its impact on health of Ostravsko inhabitants. In the beginning of the thesis are briefly described historical facts about air pollution and effects of air pollutants on environment, human race, flora and fauna. The main part focuses on evaluation of pollution in Ostravsko area and its impact on inhabitants. In this part are characterized the major polluters of the area. Concentration of air pollutants are compared with data about diseases in different parts of Ostrava. Used data were provided from the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute.
