Nástin geologického vývoje sedlových vrstev v české části hornoslezské pánve

Abstract

This bachelor thesis summarizes the information on the geological development of the Saddle Member in the Czech part of the Upper Silesian Basin. The first part of the thesis gives geological characterization of the Czech part of the Upper Silesian Basin, its division into the structural floors, the description of Karvina and Ostrava Formation and their individual members. Another part refers to the Saddle Member, its history, geology, paleontology and coal. The third part deals with solution methodology, processing and preparation of data for the creation of map outputs, which are subsequently analyzed. The main output of this thesis are therefore maps, which show Saddle Member layers that are captured either completely or incompletely.
