Abstract

Every organization wants to be a strong and competitive company. Such an organization must have competent and quality staff to make good organizations the best. But these organizations must tell the organization what exactly they should do for quality performance, and that is possible by realizing the importance of competency models. Based on competencies and competency models, it is possible to find out who and at what level meets the organization's requirements for the job. And this thesis will focus on the issue of competencies and competency models. The aim of this thesis is to design competency models for two job positions, to identify the importance and levels of competencies needed to successfully manage a given job content and to suggest the possibilities of using these competency models. This objective has been achieved through the process of creating competency models, which consists of the following phases: preparatory phase, data collection phase, analysis and classification of competencies, description and creation of competencies, creation of competency model, clarification of expectations, validation and validation of model and implementation human resources management system. The use of this competence model has been designed for employee recruitment and selection, employee appraisal and employee training and development.
