Technologické možnosti použití kovonosných briket do vsázky na EOP

Abstract

This thesis is devoted to very important problem which currently arises in factories producing the steel, and there is a large amount of metal-bearing dust generated during the production process. The aim of the research is enforcement of metal-bearing briquettes, which are pressed from these powdery materials, in batch of electric arc furnace. The purpose of enforcement is the cheaper production, but also mainly the possibility of secondary (ecologically interesting) processing of metal waste. Therefore, in this study the research has also focused on determination of the yield of iron, which is contained in these waste materials. Attention was also paid on the amount of resulting slag during the melting of the metallic briquettes, on the power consumption, and on the changes in the chemical composition of steel where these metallic briquettes were used.
