Abstract
This thesis deals with the theme: Financing for homes for the elderly. The aim of this thesis was to assess the change in financing homes for the elderly after the adoption of the new Act No. 108/2006 Coll. On social services. This assessment is used by management eight homes for the elderly. Hypothesis: Due to the adoption of the new Act No. 108/2006 Coll. On social services over the period 2007-2009, the increase in the number of homes for the elderly clients in the higher levels of dependency. Clients who are in a higher degree of dependence, are able to contribute to their care and reimbursement for meals and lodging, or almost entirely of their care costs. For this reason, the homes for the elderly "economically beneficial." Thesis is divided into two parts on the theoretical and practical. The theoretical section of thesis will be systematically divided into two parts. The theoretical thesis deals with social services, the legislative arrangements of social services by the end of 2006, when social services are faced with the Act No. 100/1988 Coll. On Social Security, as amended, and the new Act No. 108/2006 Coll. Social Services, as amended, and will take care allowance, a new method of financing. Furthermore, focusing on the contributory organization, homes for the elderly, the founder and source of financing homes for the elderly. The practical part is divided into two chapters. The first chapter of this thesis analyze the practical management of homes for the elderly, whose founder is the City of Ostrava. The second chapter analyzes the practical part of the five model situations.
