Abstract
This bachelor thesis follows up with characteristics of Mg-Al-Si alloys, their preparation, comparison with another magnesium alloys and application area in automotive. The experimental part was performed with AS31 alloy prepared at the FMMI. Microstructure of samples was analyzed by an optical microscopy, SEM and a microhardness testing.
