Vztah kriminality a místa v městském prostředí

Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of crime and its relation to space in the urban environment. The subject of investigation is crime in Ostrava in 2009 and its link to the predetermined objects that can have on the occurrence of crime in the city some importance. The first chapters are devoted to a brief theoretical view of environmental criminology and temporal distribution of crime. Follows a part describing mistakes in the data, which should be taken in evaluating the results of analyses into account. In the following chapters is described a practical part of thesis consisting of localization of selected objects in the city of Ostrava, data preparation for analysis of crime and crime analysis itself in areas of selected objects. The penultimate chapter is dedicated to study the influence of time on the occurrence of crime. At the end is an evaluation of the results.
