Cílem diplomové práce je studie rizik a analýza faktorů ovlivňujících vnímání pocitů bezpečí obyvatel v mém rodném městě, kde bydlím celý život. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou, analytickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část se zabývá bezpečností obecně z pohledu vnímání občanů. Faktory, které mohou ovlivňovat vnímání pocitu bezpečí metodami měření a hodnocení bezpečnosti. Analytická část popisuje charakteristiku města, analýzu kriminality z dostupných statistik včetně role Policie České republiky a Městské policie Olomouc. Identifikaci rizikových lokalit, prevenci kriminality a bezpečnostní projekty města spolu s technologickými opatřeními. Praktická část obsahuje samotnou metodologii výzkumu občanů města, polostrukturované rozhovory se zástupcem Magistrátu města Olomouce, Policie České republiky a ředitelem Městské policie Olomouc. Následuje vyhodnocení dat včetně návrhů opatření ke zvýšení pocitů bezpečí občanů ve městě.

The aim of this thesis is to study the risks and analyze the factors influencing the perception of safety among residents in my hometown, where I have lived my entire life. The thesis is divided into theoretical, analytical, and practical sections. The theoretical part deals with safety in general from the perspective of citizens' perceptions. Factors that may influence the perception of safety using methods of measuring and evaluating safety. The analytical part describes the characteristics of the city, analyzes crime from available statistics, including the role of the Czech Police and the Olomouc Municipal Police. It also covers the identification of high-risk areas, crime prevention, and city security projects, along with technological measures. The practical part contains the methodology used to survey city residents, semi-structured interviews with representatives of the Olomouc City Council, the Czech Police, and the director of the Olomouc Municipal Police. This is followed by an evaluation of the data, including proposals for measures to increase residents' sense of security in the city.
