Abstract

The thesis is focused on the cooperation of the municipalities. Cooperation is an essential element in the development of the regions. The theoretical part deals with various kinds of cooperation by the municipalities within its independent competence to conclude. Attention is mainly devoted to local action groups. Members of the local action groups are the public, private and business entities. The practical part of the thesis deals with the specific local action group. Attention is focused on the management and grants from the European union, which is also the aim of this work.
