Abstract
The thesis deals with theory and practice of financial analysis of the selected transport company between years 2014-2018. The theoretical part contains definition of public transport and various indicators of financial analysis. The practical part contains the aplication of financial indicators in the Dopravní podnik města Olomouce, a.s. and verification of defined hypothesis. Obtained results are evaluated and recommendations to future years are proposed
