The primary target of this diploma thesis is to investigate and evaluate the meaning of ethical behaviour of staff and management and its impact on the company's efficiency. If the ethic in this company is really in the right place and doesn't cause hidden impacts, removal of which would help the company to further and maybe faster development or at least to repair the current state.
The thesis represents qualitative and exploring organisational research. In the first part we are acquainted with some concepts and theories of many authors who considered the related topic. The next part gives detailed characteristics and introduction to the analysed company. The fourth part analyses and realizes the specified target of the diploma thesis. To analyse ethical behaviour and influence on effeciency of company Promont, s. r. o., several research methods were used, such as content analysis of internal documents, observation of environment, individual interviews with management and staff and also interesting method of critical incident which allows to acquire even deeper and more detailed look on the mentioned problem. After seeing and evaluating of current situation in Promont, s. r. o., the autor of this thesis suggested some recommendations for management in the last part.
It is not possible to claim with certainty that this thesis will be a complex manual on how successfully handle and solve the question of ethical behaviour of staff and management in the selected company. However I hope that my results will provide the management at least an impulse to think about the observed problem and maybe they will consider my suggestions for optimal solutions and their possible practical use.
