Současný stav wellness businessu ve Zlínském kraji

Abstract

This Bachelor Thesis deals with the current situation of wellness businesses in the Zlín region. The aim of this Bachelor Thesis was to describe the categories of infrastructure and wellness business that apply in this region. The theoretical part is defined by the very concept of wellness, parts and development of wellness. Further, issues relating to the classification and certification of Czech wellness facilities. The practical part describes and compares the wellness and spa facilities in the Czech Republic. The wellness market, the segments and entities acting on it are also outlined. Furthermore, the extended marketing mix focused on the wellness. The last chapter is devoted specifically to the Zlín region. It is focused on the characteristics and the comparison of selected wellness facilities (hotels, guest houses, aqua parks) and spas. The Bachelor Thesis is supported with economic data and calculations that give an estimate about the intensity of funding and operation of these facilities.
