Abstract

The theme of this thesis is to evaluating of compare and assess, means which of the materials are used for pipelines in the pharmaceutical industry and what is the best in the way of use in chemical resistance and stabilization of mechanical features. Thesis is divided into theoretical and experimental part. The theoretical part focuses on stainless steel and plastics, which are chosen as the most widely used in pharmaceutical production. I focused on their production, features or morphology. The experimental part is evaluated mechanical resistance and resistance of the stainless materials in an organic solvent and hydrochloric acid. They can change their shape, weight and in the steel their structures. There were also determined values of modulus of elasticity for the chosen tested materials. After exposure of the samples I compared and determined which of the observed materials are suitable for using in the pharmaceutical industry and evaluate why the steel pipes are replaced with plastic.
