Kapacitní posouzení atypických křižovatek se zalomenou předností s využitím mikrosimulace

Abstract

The dissertation thesis deals with the issue of intersections that are handled atypically compared to regular intersections, specifically uncontrolled level crossings with a cranked priority. Intersections with a cranked priority are defined as those where the main road does not run in a straight direction but turns to the right or left. The aim of the thesis is to analyse traffic and determine the characteristics of traffic flows, including their mutual interaction on traffic flow and safety. In the research phase, the effects of building layout and the intensity of traffic demand on the capacity and safety of road traffic are evaluated. Based on the established characteristics of the traffic flows at the intersections being addressed, a capacity assessment procedure is established using a calculation method, which is similar to the existing capacity assessment methodology used in the Czech Republic. All variations of road markings and organization of traffic at the intersection are incorporated into the presented procedure.
