Abstract

The bachelor's thesis focuses on the assessment of the operation of pumps at selected wastewater treatment plants. The introductory part of the bachelor thesis describes in general the processes and technologies used in urban wastewater treatment, types of wastewater and there is also a brief description of wastewater treatment technology for specific selected WWTPs. Part of the research part of the work is a description of pumps, specifically their distribution and brief characteristics, and the safety of their operation. The practical part of the work is focused on the description of pumps that are part of the technology at selected WWTPs and on the evaluation of their operation.
