Abstract

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to broaden the basic information about the principle, use and biomedical applications of ultrasound in medicine. To get acquainted not only with basic physical principles, technique, display principle, safety but also with laboratory tasks that will serve as a valuable guide and guide in practical exercises. Practitioners will get acquainted with the Mindray M7 diagnostic tool. In laboratory exercises, they will practice ultrasound imaging of the gallbladder, Doppler carotid artery, probe testing, and display quality, 3D abdominal phantom and numerical exercises such as ultrasound signal simulation or piezoelectric transducer measurements. A set of lab tasks will also be part of the interactive ultrasonography textbook.
