BIM a digitální dvojče pro inteligentní objekt občanské vybavenosti

Abstract

This thesis focuses on the application of the BIM methodology and the concept of digital twin in the design of an intelligent public facility building. The theoretical part explains the principles of Building Information Modeling (BIM), the Digital Model of the Building (DiMS), classification systems, and digital twins, including their use in both the Czech Republic and abroad. The practical part demonstrates the creation of a BIM model in ArchiCAD, its export to the IFC format, and subsequent integration with Microsoft Azure cloud services and the iTwin platform. The result is a functional digital twin of the building, visualizing simulated sensor data in real time. The thesis analyzes the challenges related to the integration of these technologies, highlights platform limitations, and outlines the main benefits for future facility management. In conclusion, it emphasizes the challenges that the Czech construction sector will face in adopting digitalization and the need to overcome a traditionally conservative approach to new technologies.
