Abstract

The target of the diploma work is to make a valuation of the company Model Obaly a. s. for potential investors on the date 1. 1. 2009. The general part of the diploma work is divided into three chapters (2-4). The second chapter is theoretical-methodological and the third and fourth chapters are application ones. In the second chapter general principles, the process and methods of company valuation are described. The third chapter is centred on a characterization of the chosen company and on a strategic and financial analysis of the company. In the fourth chapter an equity valuation of the chosen company is made by method named EVA - entity. Resulting valuation is compared with book value of shareholder's capital.
