Abstract
The bachelor's thesis was focused on safety and health protection when working on selected lifting equipment and in the reserved area of this lifting equipment, which ensure the transportation of material. The use of this lifting device involves occupational hazards.
The aim of the bachelor thesis was to design a System of safe work on selected lifting equipment. It defines the safety rules for use and repairs, for the movement of people in the reserved area, for the movement of vehicles in the reserved area, the professional competence of workers operating the selected lifting equipment, the definition of prohibited activities associated with the operation, maintenance and repairs of the selected lifting equipment.
During the inspection of the workplace, deficiencies were discovered in terms of safety markings and sufficient security of the access roads to the cranes. It was also found that the documentation for the lifting equipment shows minor deficiencies, regarding their not being recorded in the operational logbook. Measures for better security, proper labeling and maintenance of operational documentation were proposed for these shortcomings. Currently, the shortcomings have already been completely eliminated.
The updated Safe Work System for selected lifting equipment will serve TSR Czech Republic s.r.o. to ensure safe operation during operation, operation, maintenance and repair of selected lifting equipment. Furthermore, it will help to minimize the financial costs incurred in the repair of these lifting equipment, which may be caused by the performance of prohibited activities. Employees will be familiar with this document at initial and periodic training sessions.
