Abstract

This dissertation deals with the control of the lighting system of the outdoor lighting of the substation P at ČEPS, a.s. company depending on the quality of the output from CCTV camera system. The first chapter of the theoretical part analyses in detail individual types of the outdoor lighting and lighting control technology. The second chapter is focused on the technology of the used cameras and camera system. The last chapter compares the spectral characteristics of light sources and the sensitivity of sensor chips of camera systems. The aim of the practical part of the work is to analyze changes in the quality of recording from camera systems in the regulation of surveillance lighting. The measured and calculated values are compared from an economic and lighting point of view and then evaluated. Based on the results, the ideal illuminance level is recommended for operation in ideal conditions and the behavior of the lighting system under degraded scattering conditions.
