Abstract
The aim of this work is a summary of findings of structure, properties, synthesis and methods for characterization of nanocarbon materials. Successful preparation of graphene by the chemical vapour deposition (CVD) method on copper foil was transferred. As part of this work is a description of the process of creation of graphene, from growth on the substrate to transfer on the Si/SiO2 substrate. Then graphene was characterized by Raman spectroscopy, optical microscopy. Cu foil for preparation of graphene was characterized by atomic force microscopy. The results show, that is possible to prepare singlelayered and multilayered graphene with some structural defect by the method CVD. There were analysed non-homogeneous phase dislocations for example cracks, remnant of polymer material used for transferring and influence of defective growth area of graphene. This is a pilot study of preparation of nanocarbon materials in VŠB – TUO.
