Abstract

The subject of this thesis is to introduce the principles and usage of lifting electromagnets. To the control of this electromagnets special power supply is being used, which is an integral part of crane structure. Proposal of one of the most frequently used sources, due to its economic advantage, is in my work and together with the model project described in detail, the specifications of individual devices that are used and designed based on knowledge of the circuit and the description according to the data sheets. Based on these facts, understanding of the electromagnet and power supply design should be achieved.
