Abstract
Master thesis is prepared as a design for the insulation of a building envelope, roof construction and basement ceiling construction. Besides this the design counts with replacement of windows and doors, with installation of new floors and railings and glazing of balcony.
The whole thesis is divided into three parts.
First part of building construction consists of all parts described in law 499/2006 Coll. - „The documentation of buildings”.
Second part describes site facilities, insulation technology, budget of the reconstruction and schedule of processes.
The third part consist of thermal, technical, economic and time demanding comparison of 5 different insulation systems as:
• white expanded polystyrene EPS 70F
• gray expanded polystyrene EPS 70F
• phenolic foam board
• two-component board which consist of gray expanded polystyrene EPS 70F and mineral wool
• panels from mineral wool
The goal of this thesis was to analyze 5 insulation systems, which can be used during our reconstruction. The second step was to choose the best combination of them according to the criteria of economy, insulation quality and schedules of processes
Due to proposed design the building will gain the new appearance and its heating consumption will drop down dramatically.
