Diskriminace na trhu práce v České republice

Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on the issue of age discrimination against individuals over the age of 50 in the labour market in the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to analyze this issue from the perspective of the legislative framework, academic literature, and original research. The thesis combines a theoretical background with a practical section based on a quantitative questionnaire survey conducted among respondents aged 50 and above. The results show that age discrimination remains a relevant problem for this group, manifesting both in recruitment processes and within the workplace environment. The thesis also emphasizes the need to transform societal perceptions of aging and highlights the importance of systematically supporting age management in work environment.
