Zhodnocení stylu vedení lidí ve vybrané společnosti

Abstract

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na zhodnocení stylu vedení ve vybrané organizaci. Cílem práce je posoudit vhodnost stylů vedení v rámci různých oblastí organizace. Jsou zde brány v potaz, krom vlastností lídrů, také charakteristiky následovníků a struktura dané organizace. Diplomová práce se skládá z teoretické a praktické části. Teoretická část poukazuje na význam vedení lidí, objasňuje základní předpoklady lídra, vypovídá i o provázanosti leadershipu a managementu. Dále jsou zde objasněny koncepce leadershipu, efektivnost vedení a také metody posouzení vhodnosti. V poslední řadě je zde také popsána charakteristika organizace. Praktická část se pak skládá z několika částí, kde je využit Fiedlerův model, manažerská mřížka, analýza transakčního a transformačního vedení a analýza stylu vedení. U posledních dvou analýz byla využita metoda 360° zpětné vazba, aby došlo k objektivnímu posouzení. Výsledky praktické části byly zhodnocené a následně pak byly využity pro návrhy a doporučení pro jednotlivá oddělení.

This diploma thesis is focused on the evaluation of the leadership style in a selected company. The main aim of the thesis is to assess a suitability of the leadership styles within different areas of the organization. The characteristics of the leaders and their followers are taken into account as well as the structure of the organization. The diploma thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part points to the importance of leadership, clarifies the basic assumptions of the leader, speaks about the interdependence of leadership and management. In addition, the leadership concepts, leadership efficiency, and suitability assessment methods are also explained. At the end of the theoretical part the organization`s characteristics are described. The practical part consists of several sections, where the Fiedler`s model, model of managerial grid, transactional and transformational leadership and analysis of the leadership styles were used. For the last two analyzes, the 360-degree feedback method was applied to make an objective assessment. The results of the practical part were evaluated and subsequently used for proposal and recommendations for individual departments.
