Abstract
The first part of this thesis deals with the anaerobic process applied in the generation of biogas, the description of the biogas plants and the classification of the types of the substrates. Another part deals with the fermentation residues, which is the digestate- the solid component and the fugate- the liquid component. This part explicates the properties and categories of both digestion residues, and mentions the concerned legislation. The actual treatment and processing methods with the fugate and the digestate are also presented there. The final experimental part is focused on the separation of the fugate by the centrifugation of the digestate sample obtained from the agricultural biogas plant. After the concentration of the organic substances was determined, the fugate was subjected to the oxidizing effects of the ozonation due to conversion hard degradable substances into simple chemical substances.
