Abstract

The goals of master's thesis are detailed study of free space optics. This work describes their characteristics, parameters and effects. Consequently, the theoretical conclusions are used in the modeling of specific fiber beams. Experimental section of thesis shows real laser beams. It examines their properties and behavior with respect to temperature effects. The design of optimal optical beam shape in term of minimizing fluctuations of optical power is based on conclusions from this section. Part of master's thesis is the program optimization for laser beam intensity profile measurement with a design for data collection of received power.
