Kontrolní systém veřejné správy v České a Polské republice

Abstract

The topic of this bachelor thesis is the control system of public administration in the Czech Republic and the Republic of Poland. The thesis is divided into 6 chapters. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to compare the system of public control and selected control institutions in the Czech Republic and the Republic of Poland in the period between 2016 and 2020. The theoretical part of the thesis defines public control in the European context and focuses on supranational institutions performing public control at the European level. The third chapter is a comparative analysis of the control system of public administration in the Czech Republic and the Republic of Poland. The subject of the empirical part of the bachelor thesis is a comparison of the control activities of the Supreme Audit Institution and the Ombudsman of the Czech Republic and the Republic of Poland. The results of the comparison showed that despite the differences between the control institutions of the Czech Republic and the Republic of Poland, the control activities of the institutions, based on an effective legal framework, in both countries are based on the same principles and standards.
