Abstract

The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the viability of the company. Based on this analysis we can select the appropriate business development through the design of strategic types according to the selected approach to strategy development. This thesis is divided into three main parts. In the theoretical part approaches to the analysis of viability are summarized and it is focused primarily on Method of Company Vitality Evaluation designed by Pollak. Fundamentals of strategy are also defined as well as principals of strategic thinking, types of strategies, including the Blue Ocean Strategy. In the second part, all the theoretical knowledge is applied to the selected company. In the last part we assemble a hierarchy of objectives and design a development strategy for particular company activites.
